“I have just returned from this magical place and can honestly say it has been one of the most memorable holidays ever.”
Jennifer. Huddersfield. Learn Spanish Holiday

We offer specific weeks tailored for different levels of Spanish:
April 2024 – Improver / Lower Intermediate
Sept 2024 – Upper Intermediate / Advanced
Oct 2024 – Improver / Lower Intermediate

On all our weeks we swap the conventional class room on our Learn Spanish Holiday, as we welcome you into our home in the Spanish Pyrenees. Here the informal atmosphere encourages you to relax, a prerequisite for good learning.
We are Simon and Lucy, your hosts, and we hope you will join us on our walks as we explore this unspoilt corner of Spain.

The emphasis on our Learn Spanish Holidays is conversation, as you put your Spanish into practice in a variety of ways.

To confirm your level before booking, and therefore the appropriate week, please complete this simple online level test, and email us the result (allow 40 minutes).
Once we have the result Lucy will arrange a video chat, just to confirm your level, as we want you to get the most out of our week together (Lucy is a fluent Spanish speaker).

Upper Intermediate / Advanced = B2 to C1

Learn Spanish Holiday Itinerary

Talking to local people, interviews and role play will help you improve your Spanish and learn about the history and culture of our area.  Whilst our walks with local Spanish mountain guides, not only provide another opportunity to speak Spanish, but also give a unique insight into the geology, flora and fauna of the beautiful Ordesa National Park.

In advance of each organised visit or guided walk, we will cover some of the basic vocabulary and phrases needed to make the most of each day.

We do encourage Spanish speaking throughout the day, although meal times are a time to relax, unwind and speak in your native tongue, invariably they are multi-lingual occasions!

The bullet point itinerary below gives an idea of what we will be doing during a typical week. To receive a full itinerary please enter your email address at the end of this section and we will email it to you.

Just Some of Our Reviews on this Holiday…

“My husband and I recently spent a week at Casa Allue on the Spanish and Walking Holiday, and it was certainly one of our more memorable holidays.  Our timetable each day was “full-on”, with walks, hiking in the Pyrenees, visits to a market, local towns and a brewery. We learnt so much about the area – its history, geology, people, flora and fauna – as well as having ample opportunities to practise and improve our Spanish, with the help of passionate local guide Alberto and charismatic Spanish teacher Roberto. I would not hesitate to recommend this holiday, with the proviso that I would advise at least a reasonable standard of Spanish and a fairly good level of fitness to benefit fully from it.”

Suzie & Alex. London. UK. September 2018

“Thank you for a wonderful week. It exceeded my expectations. Really memorable!
Delicious food, good company, lovely daughters… Thank you. You really think of everything, and I felt very comfortable (if exhausted! I have to confess to being less fit than I gave myself credit for!). I went to my Spanish class yesterday and my progress was remarked on, and I felt that the class itself was rather tame by comparison with Roberto’s. And slow…”

Vanessa. Oxfordshire. Learn Spanish Holiday September 2017

“Our charismatic Spanish teacher Roberto was always encouraging and incredibly patient, and our walking guides Alberto and David were a fount of local knowledge and took us to the most spectacular places.
We had many opportunities to meet the locals and practise our Spanish, also a wine tasting event, a visit to the market to buy the wonderful produce, (and a further opportunity to improve our Spanish especially fruit and veg. vocabulary!).

Everything was superb and so well organised thanks to the attention to detail from Simon and Lucy.”
