Cooking & Walking Holidays Spain
Trip Overview
On our Cooking and Walking Holidays Spain holiday we strike a balance between cooking, exploring our region, and walking in the spectacular Ordesa National Park.
Our journey will take us from the high mountains to the foothills of the Pyrenees. Here we will discover the produce of the region, and with this in hand we will create some authentic Spanish dishes, as well as some of our own, all with a Spanish twist of course!
You will be staying at our renovated 17th century farmhouse, within the Pyrenees Geopark, a site recognized by UNESCO as of geological importance.
We are Simon and Lucy your hosts, and the majority of the cookery classes will be held in our spacious guest house kitchen. I, Simon, am passionate about food and cooking, and Lucy has a background in food science. Together we make a great team. So join us, as we share our passion and our tips.
The group size is limited to a maximum of 8 people.
Why not organize a group of friends! We can make this a private holiday.

Cooking & Walking Holidays Spain Reviews
From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed into not just their guest house, but their way of life.
Lucy and Simon are incredibly knowledgeable and interesting people. Each day was a balance of hiking and cooking, and along the way they shared stories and insights about the geology of the mountains, the region’s history, and the challenges faced by people living in this unique landscape.
The food was a highlight in itself. Nearly everything we ate was either grown in their garden or sourced very locally, which made each meal both delicious and deeply connected to the place. Cooking alongside them was inspiring, and we came away with new skills as well as a fresh perspective on seasonal, thoughtful food.
It was an unforgettable holiday, and we would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone seeking adventure, learning, and genuine hospitality.

We had a wonderful week on the Cooking and Walking Holiday! Lucy and Simon are amazing hosts. While their property is in what could best be described as a remote, medieval hamlet, we were never bored.
The views are soul feeding, and the food was amazing, using simple, fresh ingredients, many of which Simon and Lucy grow on the property. Their desire to infuse sustainability into every aspect of their business is evident.
During the days, we did amazing hikes, which were equally awe-inspiring vista’s and educational . We learned about the geology and history of the region.
For me, this was a soul nurturing vacation, which I will remember for a lifetime. I highly recommend this vacation, especially if you are looking for a unique holiday.
