On our fully guided Walking Holidays in Spain trip you enjoy spectacular walks, whilst we take care of everything else.
Our location within the Pyrenees Geopark, close to the National Park of Ordesa, means we have a huge choice of walks, with no two days being the same.
Unlike many companies we also offer a walk for every day of the holiday, and we cater for you throughout the week, truly fully inclusive.
Of course you always have the option of a day off!
We classify our hikes and walks as moderate to challenging (see below). All are fully guided by local Spanish mountain guides.
Our fully guided Walking Holidays in Spain trip is equally suited to the solo traveller, walking club, or group of friends.

Walking Holidays in Spain

Day 1
- Arrival at Casa Allué, Albella.
Day 2
- Guided Janovas and Ara Valley circular hike 12km.
Day3
- Hike in the National Park of Ordesa – Añisclo, 400m ascent 12km.
Day4
- Hike in the National Park of Ordesa – Pineta 580m ascent. 12km.
Day 5
- Rest day. Self-guided options from the farmhouse.
Day 6
- Hike in the National Park of Ordesa – Faja Pelay, ascent 780m, 19km.
Day 7
- Morning hike in Escuain to see vultures, ascent 350 m 6km. Afternoon Ainsa visit.
Day 8
- Depart for Zaragoza and onward journeys home.

Simon and Lucy gave us the warmest of welcomes to this beautifully renovated farmhouse, meticulously restored in authentic detail. The location is fabulous, close to the National Park, and the walks were tailored to our wishes and abilities, with knowledgeable guides. Delicious meals using lots of home grown produce were provided by our thoughtful hosts, whose love for their region and every aspect of its’ environment was infectious. Fabulous week!

As part of a group I stayed in Albella with Lucy and Simon for a week of hiking, mainly in The Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park.
Our hosts provided very knowledgeable guides and hikes were aimed to suite the groups ability.
The location had incredible scenery overlooking the Pyrenees Valleys with hikes for all levels. Lucy and Simon daily prepared delicious meals with ingredients from their abundant garden and the locality. They generously shared their knowledge of the culture, history and heritage of the region, not forgetting the the story of the Bearded vulture which we were so lucky to have seen up close thanks to Simon’s expertise. Overall I would recommend a week in their beautify restored farmhouse in a very special location.

We are Simon & Lucy, your hosts, and we live in the tiny hamlet of Albella, in a remote part of the Spanish Pyrenees, with just eight permanent residents.

Getting Here
We recommend to all guests that they make travel arrangements to Zaragoza.
There are direct flights into Zaragoza airport from London Stansted. Alternatively, Zaragoza has high-speed rail links from Barcelona and Madrid. Journey time from both cities is approximately 1½ hours.
From Zaragoza we offer a minibus taxi transfer service, collecting from the airport and the railway station to our Guest House in the Spanish Pyrenees. Transfer time is just under 2 hours. Cost €80 return per person.
