Casa Allué Farmhouse Spanish Pyrenees
Farmhouse Spanish Pyrenees
Casa Allué Farmhouse Accommodation Spanish Pyrenees
Welcome to Casa Allué, our Farmhouse Accommodation in the Spanish Pyrenees. A 17th century renovated farm in the tiny hamlet of Albella.
Albella is in the Central Pyrenees region of Aragon, in the very heart of the Spanish Pyrenees. It is within the Pyrenees Geopark and close to the National Park of Ordesa.
Over the past 10 years we have restored the farmhouse to a very high standard, using local artisan craftsman and always respecting the traditional architecture of the area.
We are Simon and Lucy, your hosts, and Casa Allué is our labour of love, and the exceptional accommodation for our Small Group Holidays in the Spanish Pyrenees.

SPACE TO SPREAD OUT
There is plenty of space to spread out at the Guest House. Breakfasts and evening meals are served in our spacious dining room. Across the courtyard is the salon, complete with library and a good choice of recreational reading. There is WIFI in both.
Dining out on our terrace from May to October is a highlight for many of our guests, enjoying wide open views across the valley and the abundant wildlife.
THE VILLAGE
Our Guest House is in the tiny farming hamlet of Albella. Situated in the beautiful valley of the river Ara.
Albella is known locally for the 16th century chapel of San Urbez, and the pilgrim trail that follows the GR268.
Our central position in the Pyrenees means we have the perfectly balanced climate, with over 320 days of sunshine a year. We are also well placed to reach both sides of the National Park of Ordesa and Monte Perdido.
WILDLIFE
The Guest House is surrounded by nature. Depending on the time of year, wild boar and red squirrels come into the garden. Overhead, Red and Black kites, Short-toed eagles, Egyptian and Griffon vultures soar on the thermals.
In the summer Bee-eaters, Hoopoes and Golden oriole are all visitors.
Insect friendly planting means we see a huge variety in the garden. From Hummingbird hawkmoths, Praying mantis, and over 65 species of butterflies.
